Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen finished the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series as the top scorer.

The Napoli talisman scored more goals than the likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

Osimhen’s hat-trick in the Super Eagles’ 6-0 demolition of Sao Tome and Principe took his tally to 10 in six games.

It is double the number of goals scored by Zambia’s Patson Daka, Louis Mafouta of the Central African Republic, Mane and Tunisia’s Yasine Mskani.

Osimhen’s goals ensured the Super Eagles finished Group A with 15 points.
